Privacy Policy
Short version
- WWM Tracker is a static fan tool. We don't run a backend, we don't ask for an account, and we don't have a database that holds your information.
- The Weekly Priorities checklist saves checkmarks to your browser via localStorage. That data never leaves your device.
- We do not currently run analytics or advertising. If we add either later, we will update this page and add a consent banner before any tracking script loads.
- Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which is governed by Google's privacy policy. We plan to self-host fonts to remove this dependency.
What we collect
Server-side: Standard web server access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) handled by our hosting provider for the duration of normal log retention. We don't access these for tracking — they exist for security and abuse mitigation.
Browser-side: The Weekly Priorities tracker stores your task check state in your own browser via localStorage under the key wwm-weekly-v1. You can clear it at any time from the Weekly Priorities page (Clear my checks button) or via your browser's site data settings.
No personal data: We do not request, store, or process names, emails, account identifiers, or payment data. We do not have a sign-up flow.
Cookies & similar technologies
We do not set tracking cookies. We use localStorage (a browser feature, not a cookie) only for the Weekly checklist state described above. A small "cookie-banner-dismissed" flag is stored when you dismiss the consent banner — purely so we don't show it again.
Google Fonts may set technical cookies governed by Google. When we add advertising or analytics later, we will require user consent before loading those scripts and will list them here.
Third-party services currently in use
- Hosting: Static files served from a CDN (Cloudflare Pages or equivalent). Their privacy policy applies to access logs.
- Google Fonts: Used to load Inter and Noto Serif typefaces. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
Third-party services that may be added later
If we add any of the following, we will update this policy and (where required by law) request consent before loading the relevant scripts:
- Google AdSense / Mediavine — display advertising. These set advertising cookies and use IP data for fraud detection and personalization. EU users will see a Google-compliant consent flow before any ad script loads.
- Plausible / Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-respecting site analytics. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
- Affiliate links — for gaming hardware or related products. Click data may be shared with the affiliate program. Links will be marked as affiliate.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR), California (CCPA), or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of personal data.
- Object to processing or withdraw consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because we do not collect personal data on the server, requests will typically result in a confirmation that we hold nothing about you. To clear data on your device, clear localStorage in your browser.
Children
WWM Tracker is general-audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). The site does not require an account, so this is structurally enforced.

We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when material changes are made. For significant changes, we will surface a notice on the homepage.
